Sigma BF: The Beauty of a camera that refuses to do it all
The Sigma BF is not trying to be the best camera for everyone. It is attempting to become an especially desirable camera for certain photographers. Those who want a universal machine will quite rightly criticise its omissions. Those who appreciate distinctive objects, deliberate simplicity and the physical pleasure of making photographs may, by contrast, be willing to forgive it a great deal.
OM System OM-3
It’s the most liberating system I’ve ever held. And I mean that. Because in the end, photography is also about being able to catch the light exactly when it appears, without ever having to say “I should have brought the camera.” And for those three weeks in Munich, the OM-3 made that sentence disappear from my head. That’s probably the highest compliment I can pay it.
Saal Digital - Professional Line XT
This isn’t just a photo book — it’s a professional portfolio. And it’s a reminder of just how much your images gain when they exist on paper.
Fujifilm GFX100RF
With its 100-megapixel sensor, the GFX100RF is a resolution powerhouse, but that pixel count isn’t always justified. Until a refined version 2 arrives, it remains a photographic UFO: a bold blend of elegance, technology, and personality that leaves no one indifferent.
Fujifilm XF35mm F2 WR
If you don't need F1.4 specifically I would suggest you save a few dollars and benefit from the latest improvements Fujifilm implemented in this great piece of glass.
Fujifilm XF 90mm F2 R LM WR
Articles rarely fall short of superlatives when a Fujifilm lens shows its filter thread. For several months the Fujifilm XF 90mm F2 R LM WR came with its share of speculation and rumors. "Wait and you'll see" is typically the background noise which spread on the internet.
Fujifilm XF 16mm f/1.4 R WR
Photographers allergic to zooms will rush on this new XF 16mm R WR with no hesitation. As far as I'm concerned, reason still prevails (for now) and I will continue to use the XF 16-55mm f/2.8 WR zoom as my main kit lens (until I can afford the 16mm).
